Kevin Charles Boyle, founder of Montecito's KEVIN CHARLES
SALON, began his hairdressing career coifing royalty and celebrities with Vidal Sassoon in London's upscale Mayfair District. He traveled throughout
Europe coifing celebrities, presenting shows, teaching and leading seminars.
Kevin also worked in Europe with Allan International, with salons located
in Europe and Asia. Vidal Sassoon offered Kevin an opportunity in the United
States, so to explore the idea he spent six weeks between San Francisco and
Los Angeles, California. In 1992, he visited Santa Barbara and decided to
settle there with his son, and open his own salon. "It was close enough
for Los Angeles clients to still come and see me, and a great place to raise
kids," said Kevin who moved to Santa Barbara in 1993 to open Exposé
International, then the largest salon in the Tri-Counties. One year later,
the Four Seasons Resort Hotel Group sought Kevin out for their exclusive salon
space in the five-star Santa Barbara Four Seasons Resort. Kevin had built
a great reputation for his professional and business acumen.
